House Sparrow *
A fairly common resident of urban areas of the region. Common in parking lots of fast food resturants and around service stations. In the fall, flocks of up to a hundred were formerly found in city parking lots. Numbers of House Sparrows have declined drasticly in the past 8 years. The LCBC high count of 427 was in 1986.
