House Sparrow *
A fairly common resident of urban areas of the region. Common in parking
lots of fast food resturantsand around service stations. In the fall,
flocks of up to a hundred were formerly found in city parking lots.
Numbers of House Sparrows have declined drasticly in the past 8 years.
LCBC high count of 427 in 1986.
